WWT is looking for an energetic and creative individual to support the CEPA (communication, education, participation and awareness) aspects of our international conservation work. WWT hosts a global support network called Wetland Link International (WLI) as well as delivering many conservation projects for wetlands and species that involve an important element of engaging with local people, farmers, school groups and tourists.
You will have experience and understanding of what it takes to make conservation issues relevant to people, how to access different stakeholder groups, and how to work with people globally often at long distance. Communication skills will be vital, including knowledge of web management, effective use of social media and creating engaging information resources. You will understand the relevance of international conventions, and support their delivery on the ground. Some international travel will be required.
