WWT London Wetland Centre is an inspiring nature reserve in South West London, delivering a suite of innovative workshops and activities for both formal learning groups and for family audiences, aimed at bringing people closer to nature. As a Learning Officer, you will be key to the development and delivery of the Centre’s dynamic programme of family activities, including special events such as our summer Night Safaris. You will also be part of the team that delivers our varied school programmes, mainly at KS1 and KS2 levels. Other duties include producing and maintaining trails and designing and producing activities for family audiences.

The successful candidate will have proven customer service ability gained within a visitor attraction and considerable experience of programme development for family audiences and delivery of both formal and informal learning programmes. The ability to communicate with people at all levels is essential. Knowledge of natural history / environmental / conservation issues is desirable. Please note that regular weekend working and bank holidays are a requirement of this role. We are happy to consider applicants who are willing to take on this role part time as part of a job share.
