Could you help bring our new exhibits to life? Are you great at leading activities and telling stories?  Could use these skills to engage visitors in the research work WWT carries out?

As part of a ground breaking £6 million project with National Lottery Heritage Fund funding (NLHF), we have been opening new exhibits across the site at Slimbridge. These have included Arctic Adventure, a full size replica of the research hut our scientists use up on the Russian Tundra, where we encourage visitors to take part in science activities. Soon we will be opening Mission Possible, which will focus on our conservation work to save endangered species across the globe, and features a walk-through working duckery. Summer 2021 will see our impressive Waterscapes Aviary of British wetlands open allowing visitors the chance to walk through four different wetland habitats and get up close to the wildlife that lives there.

We’re seeking someone who is confident engaging with visitors and happy leading family activities. You’ll ideally have some experience of working in a visitor attraction or performing on the stage and will have great customer service skills. You’ll need to be a strong presenter and be confident presenting to small groups and tailoring your delivery to different audience types.

In return for your hard work and dedication you’ll enjoy a wide range of benefits including:

- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays increasing to 30 days after 5 years’ service (pro-rata)
- Contributory pension scheme (conditions apply)
- Life assurance
- Free car parking and secure bike storage areas
- Cycle to work scheme
- Free entry to all our centres

Closing date:  Monday 29th March 2021

Interview date:  Friday 9th  April 2021

WWT is an equal opportunities employer and all applications will be considered solely on merit.
