We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic environmental conservationist to support delivery, and facilitate growth, of WWT’s integrated wetland conservation and development programme in Cambodia.

This post provides the opportunity to oversee initiatives to enhance wetland management of key biodiversity areas in the Cambodian Lower Mekong Delta and support local communities to benefit from improved natural resource security and environmentally sustainable livelihoods. The successful candidate will also represent WWT at national and regional levels, ensuring our strategic priorities are promoted and organisational obligations are met, and assisting the government of Cambodia to deliver on commitments to the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands.

This post is based in Phnom Penh with extended periods in the field

The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a conservation charity that protects wetlands for wildlife and people. We conserve, restore and create wetlands. We are pioneers in saving wetland wildlife, both in the UK and around the world. At our 10 UK sites around a million visitors a year engage with wetland nature. We work internationally in key global wetland areas, balancing conservation with sustainable livelihoods and influencing national and international conservation policies.
