WWT Consulting is the specialist consultancy of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT). WWT is the largest international wetland conservation charity in the UK and creates and protects wetland habitats to provide water, food and shelter for people and wildlife. WWT Consulting provides a unique breadth of professional wetland expertise, locally and internationally, offering innovative solutions for the benefit of people and wildlife. The consultancy is undergoing an exciting period of expansion to develop and deliver new projects globally.
We work on a broad range of nature conservation projects such as the restoration of multifunctional wetland habitats to provide flood attenuation, water quality treatment and to maximise biodiversity, to urban wetland management planning through to training local counterparts in wetland design and management. We are looking for specialists with habitat restoration, creation and management experience to join our multi-disciplinary team. International experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams, management of complex projects and excellent budget management is essential but the ability to think strategically and to provide innovative solutions is also important to help us deliver habitat conservation projects globally.
The post will be based at Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, however with exceptional candidate’s home working or being based at our satellite Wetland Centres will be considered.
