We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to assist with the development and running of our nature reserve.  

The reserve covers 400 hectares and consists of saline lagoons, limestone grassland, saltmarshes and reed beds, all of which take careful management and maintenance in order that they continue to provide a home for diverse wildlife including light bellied brent geese, kingfishers, bats and dragonflies.

In this role you will take full responsibility for day to day operations such as grass-cutting and repairing fences and deputise for the Reserve Manager when required. You will also assist with the supervision and training of our volunteers and ensure that all reserve and website information is monitored, accurate and up to date.

The successful candidate will be educated to higher grade / A-level standard or equivalent with previous nature conservation, land management or agricultural experience.  Excellent communication skills and supervisory experience are also essential to the role.
