This is a fixed term contract for 36 months
WWT has successfully secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for the Slimbridge 2020 project. This is a £6 million project which will transform Slimbridge Wetland Centre into the twenty-first century blueprint for conservation education. The Visitor Experience Officer role is an exciting and unique opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of this ambitious project.
We’re seeking someone to help us develop, coordinate and deliver a suite of new activities, including talks, tours, workshops and events at Slimbridge Centre as part of the Slimbridge 2020 project. You will provide amazing experiences that grow our visitation and inspire support for wetland conservation.
The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a conservation charity that protects wetlands for wildlife and people. Our aim through this project is to enchant visitors with the wonder of wetlands and its wildlife. Your role will be at the forefront of achieving this by firing people’s imagination through a range of experiences that will allow visitors to explore their natural world through real, hands-on activities. We have the funding and the plans. We now need the right person to make delivery possible.
