The Learning team at WWT Martin Mere has an excellent reputation for its outdoor, enquiry based, interactive learning sessions. Coupled with the Centres renowned collection of birds, mammals and amphibians, visits are even more memorable, enjoyable and educationally sound. As part of the team you will assist with the preparation and delivery of guided learning sessions for primary school groups and help with family events and group bookings.
Other duties include taking and managing bookings, assisting with pre-visits, helping to create and maintain educational props, equipment and habitats and carrying out simple maintenance tasks within learning areas across the Centre.
You will need to have experience of working with primary age children in a school setting and experience of environmental education. Some administrative experience would also be an advantage.
