The London Wetland Centre is looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active Social Media and PR Executive for a maternity cover contract, to help us to grow visitor numbers and raise awareness about our award-wining nature reserve in south west London. If you have experience in delivering successfully marketing campaigns and the talent to spot and exploit a PR opportunity we’d love to hear from you.
In this exciting position, you’ll be responsible for the WWT London Wetland Centre's social media accounts, developing content and supporting the Marketing Manager, delivering on external and internal communications. You'll contribute to all aspects of our day-to-day activities and be a team player who can multitask effectively with a creative mindset.
Crucially, you’ll be a brilliant communicator and team player, comfortably working across departments to achieve your goals. A proven track record of delivering marketing campaigns, raising awareness through social media and building mutually beneficial partnerships will also be required, whilst sympathy with our charitable aims as a conservation body is a must.
The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a conservation charity that protects wetlands for wildlife and people. We conserve, restore and create wetlands. We are pioneers in saving wetland wildlife, both in the UK and around the world. At our 10 UK sites around a million visitors a year engage with wetland nature.
