WWT London Wetland Centre is an inspiring nature reserve in South West London, delivering a suite of innovative workshops and activities for both formal learning groups and for families, aimed at bringing people closer to wetlands.

As a Learning Officer, you will be key to the development and delivery of our varied and innovative school programmes, mainly at KS1 and KS2 levels. You will also be part of our friendly, dedicated team that delivers the Centre’s dynamic programme of family activities, including special events such as our summer Night Safaris. Other duties include supervising our highly motivated team of School Facilitator Volunteers and assisting with the evaluation of our learning programmes.

The successful candidate will have proven customer service ability and considerable experience of delivering learning activities to visiting school groups and families within a nature reserve of similar environment. The ability to communicate with people at all levels is essential. Knowledge of natural history / environmental / conservation issues is desirable. Please note that regular weekend working and bank holidays are a requirement of this role. We are happy to consider applicants who are willing to take on this role part time as part of a job share.
