Martin Mere Wetland Centre is looking for a Cook to form part of the core catering team working closely with the Kitchen Manager and Catering Manager to deliver our vibrant catering service. This is a rare opportunity for a skilled cook to achieve a healthy work/life balance in the catering sector, with no split shifts and only a handful of evening shifts throughout the year.
You will be an energetic and enthusiastic catering professional, delivering a high quality food offer, and assisting in the delivery of seasonally inspired products to meet our visitors’ needs. With an eye for detail you will ensure food presentation is of the highest standard. You will understand the importance of fast and efficient service, accurate ordering and stock control and the part they play in a successful operation. You must have experience in working as part of a team as well as the ability to run a service on your own and have exceptionally high food safety standards.
