Wetlands are remarkable. Not only are they home to an incredible number of animals and plants across the globe, they also mitigate climate change by locking away carbon, clean up our water and naturally protect us from flooding. In fact, almost all life depends on wetlands for water, food, or habitat.

What is more, being near water makes us physically and mentally healthier.

Yet a third of all wetlands have been destroyed.

Despite these extraordinary qualities wetlands have a low profile among the public and policy makers. At the start of this crucial decade for our planet, we have ambitious plans to change this and, with world leading scientific expertise and more than 1m visitors to our sites, the platform to do so.

This new role is critical to our plans.

We’re seeking an outstanding creative mind with significant experience in design. You will take this rich subject with its amazing visual opportunities and help shape an identity that reflects our relevance to society. You’ll work within our vibrant content team alongside copywriters and content creators, managing a design executive and freelancers. You’ll be a champion for outstanding design and the strength of our brand. And you’ll regularly be generating and presenting your creative ideas to senior colleagues.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to help shape the future of our charity and make a difference in the world at a critical time. If this sounds like your cup of tea then we’d love to hear from you.

In return for your hard work and dedication you’ll enjoy a wide range of benefits including:
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Contributory pension scheme (conditions apply)
- Life assurance
- Free car parking and secure bike storage areas
- Cycle to work scheme
- Free entry to all our centres

Interview Date: Wednesday 4th March

WWT is an equal opportunities employer and all applications will be considered solely on merit.
