Supporters are at the heart of everything WWT do and the Supporter Services team play a really important role in delivering excellent supporter care and stewardship and in making our supporter’s voice heard across the organisation. Working within the Supporter Engagement department, with an ambitious new strategy the Supporter Services team will play a pivotal role in helping ensure WWT meets its aims and meets the challenges facing wetlands and their wildlife.

As the Apprentice Supporter Services Administrator, you’ll join a growing but established team delivering front-facing supporter care to a large diverse supporter base.

  • You will help to promote quality supporter care across WWT, promoting the Supporter Journey, and help the Supporter Service team improve the service they provide
  • You will support the processing and fulfilment of supporter gifts and subscriptions, database management and administration of supporter records, delivering excellent supporter care and supporter centric stewardship
  • This role will involve the fulfilment of membership applications and adoption packs, processing and packing where needed, assisting with a wide range of enquiries from Supporters and our sites, and other membership related tasks

There will also be a range of office duties, including the collection and delivering of post, stationary ordering and stock checking, maintenance of accurate customer records and our customer database.

As the successful apprentice you will undertake an Apprenticeship in Customer Service level 2 Standard with an Admin pathway to include Functional Skills in maths and English (where applicable), completion of your End Point Assessment.  During your time on the apprenticeship programme, you will also be expected to complete and document 20% off-job-training.

The Apprenticeship will be delivered by South Gloucestershire & Stroud College over 15-18months.

You will be required to attend college one day per week over an 8–10-week block at some point during the apprenticeship for your studies and an assessor will visit you out on site.  You will be assigned a supervisor/mentor within the workplace, who will support you to develop your workplace skills, knowledge and behaviours throughout the duration of your apprenticeship programme.
